Description

Universal beams are essential for any major support or structural integrity in building construction. These steel beams are hard-wearing and strong. Universal Beams, otherwise known as I-beam, UBs, I section, RSJs, rsj beams, h beam, steel lintels, steel girder and load bearing steels.

Universal Beams are very popular in the building trade used mainly for steel lintels. Beams can withstand loads along their entire length, whilst universal columns withstand loads across their vertical axis only.  This makes universal beams ideal in projects involving supporting floors or where openings for windows and doors are required in supporting walls.

We offer a bespoke cut to size service available on all sections with the option of shotblast & primer painting as well as drilling.
